The “W” Quilt

I would like to introduce Will.  This little boy is named after his granddad’s but his nickname comes from our “little” Will.  I got to meet him last week when I took the kids to meet my parents.  I stopped in his  hometown on my way home.  Our Will feels quite honored to have someone named after him.  He was not very happy that he didn’t get to meet him yet.

This is our Will and Justin, when we celebrated Justin’s 10th birthday.

Now to the quilt part of this post.   Will is 3 weeks and 6 days old and he already  has his quilt.  I was very excited to get it finished in time to give it to him when I saw him.  I don’t think he was very impressed since I never saw his eyes, but his mom was pretty excited.

Will’s parents were some of our adopted college students.  We have known his dad since he was a freshman in college.  His dad has even been to WI for Thanksgiving on time.  If you would like to know more about this family follow them at Tyson’s in Kansas in our favorites.

I like the quilt. It is very neat. Where did you go for Justin’s birthday?

Very cute quilt and such an adorable little boy. And wow you work fast to get that quilt done in three weeks. I am a little jealous that you already got to meet him, but I suppose it’s to be expected since you live WAY closer.

Yay for the Will quilt! We love it! We need to put our heads together to find a time when Will and Will can meet!

I really like the quilt Amy! Sometime soon I’ll have to show you the fabric I found, I still need to choose ribbon-not quite sure what color yet.
