As we plunge into sub-zero temperatures and sit under layers of clothes and blankets, I wanted to remind everyone of how hot it gets in the summer, and why we wish for cooler weather in the heat of the summer. I guess we should watch what we wish for.

Thank you Robin for these memories.

A trip to Frontier City in August.

The day we had our family pictures taken it was 100 degrees out. One of our family pictures is at the top of this blog.

Well, have a great ‘cold day’ today. So strange to be out of school for cold.

I’m very angry with you for posting those pictures. I am the odd one – I NEVER wish for it to be cooler. The hotter the better. I want the summer to come right now.

You got out of school for cold in Oklahoma? Guess if that was the criteria in WI, school would be cancelled for the winter! Just how cold was it?
