1st Football Game
Last night was Will’s first school football game. He played on the A-team offense and defense never leaving the field until 5 min. left in the game. He was very tired by the time the game was done. In the following pictures, his number is 70 and he is wearing black forearm pads. He had some great plays and a few goofs, but I thought he did really good. I was very proud of him. He was always the first one to the line of scrimmage and the first one to the huddle. He really hustled.
And sometimes when your dad you get stuck doing anything.
Way to go, Will! I can’t believe you’re old enough to play school football. I’m sure Isaac will play one day, but I’m not really liking the idea just yet. Not while he’s still so small.
I love football! I hope his season goes very well. It looks like it’s starting out great.
I just read your post about meeting P-Duh! I’m so jealous! She’s coming to OKC for her book tour. I’ll be there with bells and whistles!

Yes, Phil Henden was stuck driving the golf cart around behind the cross country runners. He picked up one runner that didn’t make it to the finish line. Brandon was 12th! Jeremy was riding on Phil’s golf cart.
Great job, Will! I’m with Rachel – I can’t believe you’re old enough to be out there. It sounds like you’re good, too! We’re proud of you – I’ll make sure Ben sees these pics!
