I bought this quilt frame this fall. I finally got to use it Monday when we had a snow day.
I used this quilt as my first practice quilt to quilt.
I finished quilting this quilt tonight. This quilt is made with t-shirts and sweatshirts that were decorated by a woman’s mother. Her mother passed away and the woman wanted something done with the shirts, so this is what I came up with.
I was hired to embroider on this blanket for a third grader that lost both of her parents within 10 weeks of each other. Her class at school gave this to her.
Pillows for the Taste of Edmond in December.
Backs of the pillows.
These are t-shirts stretched over art canvases. They will also be sold at the Taste of Edmond.
Before school started I was invited to a new teacher luncheon sponsored by Rose State College for Mid-del schools. I was adopted by a business because they sat at the table I was sitting at. Right before fall break they brought me these letters covered with paper related to cooking and sewing.
They also brought me a cookie cake that I shared with my class.
It was neat to be adopted by someone in the community.
