Work Camp
The first week in June, Bill, Justin, and Jemma went to Wichita KS, to participate in work camp.
Bill and Jemma were on the same team
They painted over the graffitti all over the city.
Justin was assigned to another group, but was also painting over graffitti.
Bill got to work with both of our kids.
Spring Break Birthdays
Bill and Justin had birthdays over break. Justin turned 16. I just realized I didn’t get a picture of him blowing out the candles. Ugh!
I got a picture of the cake. I saw this idea on Pinterest. It’s just white cake, divided three ways, then add in different food coloring to get the different colors in the layers. You could make more layers.
I made a Buckeye cake for Bill. Chocolate, peanut butter, and brownies.
More finished projects on snow days.
Bill got this light hung in the hallway on a recent snow day. The light has been missing for probably 2 years. I finally decided on one I liked. I’d kind of forgot we hadn’t replaced it.
I got another quilt finished. The woman I teach with pieced this one except for the outer boarders. I just put the boarders on, quilted it, then put the binding on.
Game Time
Saturday, Bill and I got the opportunity to go to the OU game with some friends from church. Unfortunately OU lost, but we had a good time.
This drummer is Tanner Brown. His parents are in our bible class. This is the band marching into the stadium.
Here’s the band marching on the field for the pre-game show.
This is part of the pre-game festivities.
